Once you see one chair, then ....

What you see , that is all of it. This is the only thing in this area, no other attraction near this

They sell office furniture so all there is to see is a big office chair placed in front of a plain building. On the other hand, if you are looking for used office chairs or other furniture it's worth a try.

We were in the area so decided to check the large chair out. We stopped by and snapped a picture. I love things like this and I thought it was a fun stop. I don't understand why the van is always parked under the chair. As you can see in other photos tagged to the Big Chair in the past... More

I usually bring people from out of town here simply because it's the strangest landmark in town. It's a big chair. You can look at it and get a pic. It's just a big chair.

In the simplistic style of every coffeebreak space, or perhaps you are waiting at the Health Department -- next, oh good now there is a vacant chair for me...nope a pregnant lady about 12 months along snaps that hard seat that you hoped to rest in. She needs it more. Thanks for being a nice person. There is a Geocash... More

Last weekend I decided to drive down Nobel Street, I had my 14 year old daughter with me. I passed the big chair and I said, "There's The Big Chair". She said, "that's a big chair alright.". We didn't slow down to look, just kept going. She did ask if anyone had ever been up there to sit on it.... More

It's a dilapidated big chair in front of a dilapidated store in a very bad area of town. How can anyone possibly want to go out of your way to see this? Perhaps we should list the helicopter at the VFW as an attraction too?

Okay... This is a big chair. However I just do not get why this is a top attraction in Anniston. The downtown area is historic and fun to walk through, but a big chair? It is a furniture company advertisement for a local company and sits just off the street. A large steel structure and you can swing in and... More
