And we're hikers! Prior to coming to Apache junction we spent 5 days in Sedona hiking but the Superstition Mountains beg to be explored on horseback! The country is rugged and we signed up for the half day ride which allowed us to cover a lot of this gorgeous area. Jessie was our guide, he was sweet, competent and gave... More

We did not ride, but... We enjoyed shopping in the store, talking to Ron, reading his books and being at the campground. Jane and Ron are great folks. Ron can tell you alot of history. We were at the campground for 2 weeks, going back for a month next winter. Most folks there are horse enthusiasts. We are not, but... More

The family who owns and operates Superstition's OK corral are friendly and professional. A class act operation. James & Denny were wonderful guides. We had a group of 7 with a couple 1st time riders, everyone felt comfortable and had a ton of fun. Great, we'll cared for horses and beautiful desert landscape. We'll be back for sure!

Wow!! Nice ride thru the desert in the morning. Kids enjoyed the ride and did not complain the entire 2 hour ride. Our guides really made a difference. Very jovial folks and were interactive the whole way. They made it fun for our group of nine. Highly recommend coming here for a nice stroll thru the desert.

We took our whole family -- us and the three kids, one of whom hadn't been horseback riding before. The rest of us have been a few times. They gave us great, gentle horses, and Bryce (our guide) was good at answering questions and keeping up good conversation. Great way to spend an hour! The scenery is nice, too, with... More
