The Pacific Pinball Museum is a 501 c 3 non profit dedicated to teaching science, art and history through pinball and to display and preserve this great American treasure. It is also a hands on interactive experience of fun! Over 85 games to play from the earliest pinball machines to the latest. One admission lets you play all day to your hearts content, without fumbling for quarters. It is family friendly and educational with shows on the art of pinball, exhibits on pinball science and our permanent historical display of pinball evolution. People from the world over have given us rave reviews and love our unique presentation of this classic game. Our large format murals of hand painted backglass art are admired and coveted by artists and pinheads alike and the chance to play a completely transparent pinball machine is icing on the cake.

This is an INTERACTIVE museum: 10 usd for an hour of play. 20 usd for a day of play. I spent an hour at the Pacific Pinball Museum— my second time there though this was my first time to play. I went there first in Aug. 2014…and have been donating bits of money since then to their hopeful move and... More

We were so surprised and pleased to find this fantastic pinball museum in downtown Alameda! With over 100 pinball machines dating back to the 1940s and earlier, we were able to easily blow a couple of hours there- once I paid admission, the family scattered and went pinball crazy. For a flat fee we had access to the museum -... More

The Pacific Pinball Museum is a well kept secret in the Bay Area. Not only can you be educated about the history of pinball and it's evolution to the amazing games we have today but you can also play all day for only $20! We will definitely be back!

We are Pinball enthusiasts and we planned our vacation with the Pacific Pinball Museum in our itinerary. They have a good assortment of machines some that where not in good working order. My favorite, "Revenge from Mars" had a flipper malfunction and I was very disappointed. We came back the next day to play and it was not repaired. On... More

So many pinball machines! It fun to see so many different kinds of pinball machines and how they have change throughout time. We paid $20 for all day but they have a hourly rate I'm not sure how much.

Enjoyed a few hours here last September. Entry fee and then most machines on free play (prefer pay per use as many people just start a game and walk off as they don't have to pay for individual games ... just my personal preference). Parking can be difficult.

As a longtime pinball player, this place is perfection. There are four rooms, which are arranged by chronological era in which the machines were released. The first has many wooden cabinet machines, where the bells ring, letting you know that yes, this is heaven. There aren't many places in the world where you can play these historical pieces. It's $15... More

Michael and staff have taken a hobby to museum like quality. The machines on the play line represent a broad experience of years. You must check back from time to time because they rotate machines. Any one that has played pinball or new to the game can immerse themselves in playable history.

If you have any interest in pinball this is a don't miss spot. The chronology and evolution of the machines and the artistry involved is worth the price of admission. And then you get to play all the machines until your wrists hurt.
