There are interesting placards along the way that tell of the 100 years of water rising and falling that have claimed Alviso. A very enjoyable walk along the salt ponds is available. Nice views and a relaxing walk. Yes, you can still hear a distant...More

Flat terrain but you can walk for miles. An opportunity to learn local history, see thousands of birds and get a 360 degree view of an area you would normally only see from the freeway.

They have filled in the marina and let nature reclaim the slough. Wildlife have returned and if your lucky you'll see strippers coming in to chase the chad when they run. Walk way out on the jetty and slat grass will make you disappear.

It was late afternoon and we stopped to check out Alviso Marina County Park. It was a pleasant stroll with the sun almost setting and a gentle breeze blowing. It was the perfect place to photograph wildflowers and watch the birds overhead.
