The Flying Elephant Ride in Disneyland is one of the oldest rides in the park. The ride first took off in 1955. The flying elephants travel in a counterclockwise direction and can be moved up or down by a small hydraulic lever located inside the...More

This ride is definitely a classic Disneyland ride and a definite must do. You sit in an elephant and go in a circle. You can control if your elephant moves up or down. Its fun for all ages.

A long line that moves slowly but is a must do for little ones! Other than that, I would not make it a priority.

A trip to Disneyland must involve a ride on a classic such as Dumbo. Fun riding over Fantasyland and lots of happy smiles by everybody.

I feel like I've gone on this ride a dozen times before. I've ridden the same basic concept at Sesame Place in Pennsylvania and at Six Flags in back home in Jackson, NJ. This version puts a Disney spin on things and is quite pleasant...More

We all love this ride. The kids love to play with the lever stick to make Dumbo fly up and down as the ride goes around. We rode several times including at night which was lovely and quiet. During the day the line was very...More

We like the classic Dumbo Flying the Elephant Ride at Disneyland. The elephants are cute. One basically gets into an elephant car and goes around in circles at different elevations. Its enjoyed espeically by younger children. The attraction is in Fantasyland area of Disneyland Park.

Kids love this ride and I understand why. The ride isn't very long but I think that's because it's so popular they want to cycle as many riders through it as possible. The calliope could be turned down a bit, but it is Disneyland.
