I am a former WDW CM who visited DL for the first time. I compared similar rides and found this version to be more entrtaining as it also contained Disney IP, The ride was similar and different at the same time. The logistics are a bit different since they are two different buildings. We had our grandkids with us and they were both fascinated, not knowing where to look. The ride went slowly as usual but I think the sound system is better at WDW. WDW did a refurb several years ago and adopted a few of the DL ride aspects. Overall, both location rides are very good though I have to give slight edge to DL.

But we had to, since family wanted to go and it was their day. I can't imagine how the Cast Members on this ride don't go mad with that darn song playing all day and all night. And some of the images are pretty dated. I guess if it is raining and you are deaf it might be a pretty good idea?

I’ve ridden It’s a Small World at WDW multiple times, but this was my 1st ride at DL. Our ride was at night. The lights on outside of the building were very pretty. I was glad to have the opportunity to ride the original of this classic ride. Now I’ve got the song stuck in my head.

The light display at the Small World ride at Christmas time is spectacular! They change the ride’s music for Christmas as well ;)

Used fast pass and zipped through line. Electric scooter ride to exit then get on boat. Took lots of pictures. Rich memories from past trips with family. Doesn't disappoint. Must watch clock open too. If you have scooter then for the parade. Park accross from ride as pictures show. Great gem for watching as you are up above street level.

Small World is so much prettier and nicer in CA then in Florida. I had heard it was better in CA and it really is. The entrance is so pretty. It is a must do, we loved it!

On a hot day there is nothing more lovely than this long slow stroll through air conditioned happiness. The song (which we all know) can get stuck in your head, but there are worse things to have stuck in your head (sorry Taylor Swift).
He kids love it. He adults enjoy it. You can’t go wrong.
My biggest tip would be to go early or late in the day. The line can get long and it is almost entirely in direct sunlight. As refreshing as the cool inside of the ride is, it doesn’t matter if you differ best stroke before getting inside.

One of the most impressive rides at Disneyland. The attention to detail is incredible and it really is a must do if you are going. The ride is actually quite long as are the queues to get on it. We were fortunate to have my disabled mum with us and got preferential treatment, meaning we didn't wait too long but it is probably worth trying toget a fastpass for it.

I really shouldn't be giving this ride 5 stars because after it you'll be singing that song. And it's won't leave your head until you get another one in your head. I recommend the Tiki Room to help with that.
This is a pure classic. Here's a fun fact, apparently the gold on the building is actual gold flakes.
That darn song! Now it's in my head as I write this review!

This ride has an annoying song that somehow you come to love (even though it will be stuck in your head for hours!). It's old fashioned and twee but somehow a visit to Disney wouldn't be complete without it. Little kids in particular will love it.
