We took the grandchildren up to Lopez where they wore themselves out on the water slide and slept all the way home. A relaxing day can be had in the country at Lopez Lake.

Loved seeing the abundance of Deer in this beautiful park. It must be amazing when the Dam is full. Can't wait to go back one day and have another crack at the waterpark!!

We love Lopez Lake, but the drought is really hurting the area. The level is too low to launch your own boat, however there are boats for rent that are already in the water.

We took lots of photographs of this beautiful area. Well worth seeing. Do recommend this lake for a visit.

Only bar and restaurant on Lopez Lake, bar prices fairly reasonable , food not very good and pricey for what you get

I suspect if you look at their website it will tell you the check in and check out time. I only ride my bike up there and hike in the area have not yet stayed in the campground. The lake is now over 60% full and looking... More
