We originally intended to launch our kayaks on the upper lake beach, but it was closed for the season. This turned out to be a good thing, because by the time we even got close, working our way upstream from the boat launch by the...More

This is a wonderful hike, and especially scenic this spring after all the rain. You can walk under the Foresthill Bridge and up to the spillway of the dam with beautiful scenery along the way. There are a few narrow spots on the trail, otherwise...More

Perfect little mountain lake. The boat in camping is very fun and the water is crystal clear mountain water. Pretty cold but good in the summer and fall. The access road is steep, windy and tight so driving in with a big boat is tough,...More

This is a small, narrow canyon lake with one small & crowded launch ramp & very limited parking so plan ahead. The scenery is very nice & there is a nice beach area at the campsites.

Lake Clementine Trail is a beautiful hike. Trailhead starts just off the 49 and old foresthill road. Plenty of parking along the road but you must pay a $10 fee. If you arrive before the ranger make sure to pay the slip because they check....More
