This was the first time I ever soaked in a hot spring. Having read their website, I was a little disappointed when I saw the facility, which is quite rustic. However, we did have a good time soaking in the hot spring and talking with other people in the hot spring pool. Also, the staff were very friendly. Occasionally we... More

This location is a great get-away for relaxation. Whether you get a room or one of the cabins, you will enjoy yourself. The restaurant is delicious too!

This place has been in business for many years. In its day it was probably more amazing. The hot strings are very hot and makes the swimming pool comfortable to swim in. The facility is quite run down and thus a little intimidating.

Lifeguards weren't doing their job. They were messing around pushing another lifeguard in the pool, who was inappropriately wearing a thong. Continuously was going into the room behind the lifeguard chair. Never once saw a lifeguard sitting in the lifeguard chair.

The facility is worn but you do get what you pay for. This is not a fancy spa. It is more of a blue collar campsite kind of place. We stopped by to use the hot springs soaking pool and swimming pool. The staff at the desk is very nice. Because we came in the afternoon, we only paid $8.... More

Soak and sun .yourself to good health. Enjoy the healing waters of the Hot Springs and enjoy a swim in the pool. Great for families as well. Restaurant on site is healthy, yummy and refreshing. Try their incredible daily fruit drinks. Or a salad. And don't forget a cookie for dessert. Sometimes I stop by just for a cookie:) They... More

Many folks have given this place low marks, but what do you expect when you're paying such a low cost to enjoy one of the finest mineral hot springs on the central coast. I got a morning senior rate of just $6.00 from 8:00 Am until noon...can't beat that. Sure the place is run down, the pool has some cracks... More

Not sure about this place. Might be good in the summer. The hot springs part seemed kinda bleak. I dunno.

My wife went there to get a massage and said it was "o.k." It is obvious that Avila Hot Springs has been around for a long time. The first thing you notice when you get there is the smell of sulfur. I've read other reviews from people who stated the place was not very clean and I have to agree... More
