I love Clive Cussler's books and to see the cars that are featured in his writing was absolutely awesome. Over 60 beautifully restored vehicles on display that are rotated because that is less than half of the collection as I understand it. There's even an old bathtub with a boat motor attached. Thank you Mr. Cussler for sharing your words... More

Nothing fancy here, except the outstanding collection of autos! Very welcoming, car museum where you can enjoy up close the autos, all in excellent condition. Small displays provide backgrounder for each vehicle too.

It isn't easy to find but it is well worth the search and the drive out to a nondescript business park on the far western edge of Arvada. (Don't trust Google Maps. You'' wind up on the road just north of the museum.) This massive collection of beautifully restored classic cars is just amazing. Many of these are featured in... More

Hidden away in west Arvada, Colorado, this private collection, owned by author Clive Cussler, is worth the extra effort to find it. We attended a special book-signing event, but I believe that it is only open during the Spring and Summer months to the public. There is a nice variety of the more antique automobiles from the early 1900s, all... More

Clive Custler (famous adventure author) has collected and restored more than a hundred antique cars. He continues to add to the collection and rotates different cars in the museum. A must visit..

Just a short drive from Denver, the Cussler is a worthwhile excursion for classic car enthusiasts. There are about 75 beautifully restored cars on display from the family’s collection. The museum is on the ground floor so there are no steps to climb. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children. Allow about 2 hours. There... More

Really interesting display of antique cars. Went with my dad who is a huge Cussler fan. We all really enjoyed it and can't wait until next year's display.

The Cussler museum was very clean and nicely laid out with wide aisles for pushing wheelchairs or strollers. The stories about the cars, author, and books are short but interesting tidbits. I don't recommend bringing a toddler- simply because they are drawn to velvet ropes and things they can't touch so it makes it a little tough to enjoy the... More

Impeccable old cars, magnificently restored, broad collection, plus signs, an interesting boat, and more. If you like cars, this is a MUST DO. Nicely laid out and displayed, good access, simply fabulous.

Thank Dave M
