We weren’t sure if the ride would be worth the cost, but we were so glad that we went. Breathtaking views, relaxing overlook, nice people and families all around. We had lots of help with our own photos and helped others with their photos, as...More

Pricy but was worth our time going up the mountain. What great scenery when you arrive at the top. Ride takes about 15+ minutes and it can get a bit shaky once you get higher, especially if it’s windy. There was a photographer onsite to...More

The scenery is lovely from whatever direction you look. On the way up are beautiful mountains, trees, and ski slopes. Looking down, one experiences a fabulous view of the town of Aspen. Also, it is great to be on the gondola keeping warm for the...More

they have some new kids activities at the top for summer. winter no easy runs for kids, but they can take the gondola down as long as they don't get run-over on the blue runs by some selfish person.

Don't miss a ride up the gondola and enjoy lunch at the top, winter or summer! The sights are 360 degrees so take along the camera.

We rode the Gondola to the peak of Aspen Mountain and ate lunch at the Sundeck Restaurant. The views are amazing, and you will not be disappointed. The ride is about 15 minutes in an enclosed gondola, but you can open the side windows for...More

Ajax is not a huge mountain. Once you take the gondola, you'll be at the top, right next to the Sundeck Restaurant. At the base of the gondola there's a room with some lockers and some cubby holes to change and store your bag, shoes......More

If it's a windy day, this gondola seems to operate at a snail's pace. In better weather it is the fastest way to get up to the really excellent slopes higher up Ajax.

The gondola takes you from the bottom of Aspen Mountain to the very top. Views during the way and on the top are awesome. The duration of trip is about 15 minutes. If you are skiing you should be at least an intermediate skier/rider because...More

The regular Four Mountain lift ticket covers all lifts and gondolas. A "foot pass" for non skiers is available for a reduced price.
