We hadn't been to the new museum yet, so visited on this trip. Very modern/abstract - including one exhibit that we thought was under construction - but that was the exhibit! I'll admit I'm much more a fan of Impressionist and other "older" styles, but...More

The Museum is a nice place to visit. There is no entry charge and on the third floor they serve food with a great view of Aspen Mountain.

The exterior of this museum and the remarkable outside bench are absolutely outstanding (see photos). Unfortunately, the leaves me cold.

The Asen Art Museum is located in down town Aspen with very little or no parking. All of the exhibits are contempary. Many types and media are displayed. Was able to see all of the exhibits in less than two hours.
