We rented bikes and helmets from Aspen Rental and biked the Rio Grande Trail to Woody Creek Tavern. The views were spectacular, and the ride was fairly easy. It was a bit more difficult on the way back, but not impossible. A really great way...More

Great trail for beginners, either hiking or biking. Flat and long ( 40 miles if you want ), with creeks, great landscaping and excelent paving.

This trail is a paved, Rails To Trails bike path that runs between Glenwood Springs, CO and Aspen, CO. It is paved except for one 2-mile section that is still rideable on a road bike with skinny tires. It is gently uphill in the Glenwood...More

My daughter biked on the trail and was very impressed with the scenery. We tried to drive to an area that was next to the river, but to our disappointment never could find it. She really enjoyed the bike ride, though

We decided to hike on a rainy day during our ski trip. This trail spans 42 miles and is well kept. We took it from downtown Aspen to woody creek (8 mi each way) where you will find a "local" tavern. Nothing fancy and kind...More

This trail offers something for everyone. Whether it's a 5 minute stroll or 80 mile round-trip bike ride, you don't want to miss this trail if you have any interest in the outdoors. The Roaring Fork Valley is a spectacular Colorado outdoor asset.

We walked around 3 miles its up to you as you can take a short stroll along the river side very scenic, and flat to walk or to bike path is flat ,or you can go all the way 40 miles.

It's not difficult so many levels of bicyclists can enjoy it. Beautiful, diverse landscapes and views along the river and past farms and Golf Courses as well.

We rented our bikes (and subsequently bought them, since we come every year and have a residence interest at the Ritz) from Four Mountain Sports. The rental and subsequent purchase were quite reasonable. (970) 920-2337
