The first 1.5 miles of the Spruce Creek trail are pretty, but unremarkable. If you have a high clearance vehicle, go up the rough road a ways. The blackened tilapia is really delicious, as are the desserts. Shaded patio out front is fun on a summer afternoon.

Nice out of the way place near Aspen. Neighborhood bar & restaurant. Food is very average. Only claim to fame is that Hunter S. Thompson used to hang out there.

We rode our bicycles (free for guests staying at Sky Hotel) from the town of Aspen to Woody Creek Tavern via the Woody Creek/Spruce Creek Trail.
