The show was excellent. Theater small, intimate, didn't see a bad seat. Margo Anderson did a excellent job describing Patsy's life and singing her songs. The Encore Band was outstanding.

I dropped by during the day to ask about the theatre's next shows. The managing director and I chatted for awhile, and he permitted me to look in at the old theater space. Pretty space, and the upcoming shows should appeal to snowbirds and local...More

A nice old theater refurbished and made new again, keeping the old style charm. Was there to see the Sara Mac Band, house band. Loved the concert and people there, especially Dixie who took care our complaints of the two loud drunks in front of...More

We visit the Dixie theatre about once a year to see our friends Irish band play at the venue. The owners are fantastic folks (we've had the pleasure of meeting them) and we always meet the most interesting people there. Sligo Line is an amazing...More

We have been to the Dixie many times in the past. It is a wonderful old theater with tables at floor level and balcony seating. The atmosphere is joyful and any patron can wander downstairs for a drink to take back to your seat. $25.00...More

What a wonderful vintage theater in a perfect little seaside town. The staff were so friendly and the show was great fun. We'll be back!

How many times have you gone into a store and noted a sign on the front door warning, "Toilets for customers only!" or some version thereof. (One Gulf Shores eatery advertises "$10 to use restrooms if not a customer!") Even if you understand why, it...More

Do you have plays, etc. during June? My husband and I are bringing my 88 year-old parents and would like two see a type of show. We will be there on June 16th through Tuesday 20th.

Hello! I am selling my restaurants in Savannah, GA, and I am looking to open a little Pizzeria / Craft Beer / Wine Bar - casual! - in a nice beach local on the west coast of Florida. I am looking at towns between Clearwater and Pensacola, and your town comes up number one on all of my research criteria! Based on my research, there used to be a pizza place called Stage Left near your theatre, but it has gone out of business. I also understand that the big three pizza chains - Domino's / Pizza Hut / Papa John's - do not have franchises in the Apalachicola / Eastpoint / St. George area. I was wondering if you could tell me if I would be welcome? Do you need a pizza place? And maybe even why Stage Left closed? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for yor consideration! - Terry OHara
