When it opened, this was a wonderful attraction. Unfortunately, lack of maintenance and poor policing have made this a danger zone. Homeless people have virtually taken the park over. Trails, walkways, and facilities are not being maintained. It's a creepy, dangerous place. I wouldn't recommend...More

We rode our bikes here and tried to relax a bit because it was very scenic. But the insects were pretty bad, so we didn't last long. It's kind of isolated, so I don't know that I'd go alone.

This is a beautiful park in Atlantic Beach. It's rarely crowded. My husband and I like to paddleboard here because it's so easy to put in. Great place to fish too. Easy access to the Intracoastal or you can paddle around the marshes. Won't go...More

Visited with my wife and enjoyed the quiet and setting, various birds attempting to find something to eat in the water and mudflats. Be sure to walk out to the end of the elevated walkways for the best views!

The roads are not paved but they are hard packed limestone. Their is handicapped parking at the pier though.

Whew. This is a big question. If you are asking time of year I would say in the spring or summer as a lot of birds have gone south. If you want to see shore birds I would say low tide when perhaps you can see them feeding.
