Very friendly and knowledgeble staff. Lots to see in Albany. Lots of history, I am so happy we stopped in at the welcome center, we were greeted by a wonderful staff member who was very happy to help us plan our day in Albany.

This historic building sits right next to turtle park which is a great place for the kids to play. The welcome center has rest rooms and a small gift shop, plus tons of free info on Albany. Upstairs shows a short video on the history...More

Evacuees from Hurricane Matthew, we knew nothing about Albany. The staff here was very informative, helpful, and friendly. We ended up truly enjoying this area because of the staff and center.

We enjoy looking around and founding out what's gone on and going on in different areas. Everyone was very helpful and extremely friendly. We enjoyed the gift shop.

Visited center and learned so much about the Albany area. There were pictures depicting the history of Albany, and wonderful gift shop.

They could see i needed of help as i have a handicap and quickly assisted me in entering and later on leaving. they were not only informative on local bargains but in local history as well which was quite helpful.
