My husband, daughter and myself took a day trip to the Blue Hole. My husband was able to dive while we were able to snorkel. This was worth doing; so much to see and the lunch stop at Lighthouse Reef was wonderful. We were able to check out the Red Footed Booby Bird Sanctuary which was really worth a look... More

If you have the opportunity to visit one of the 8 wonders of the world do it! Aerial pictures make it look huge ... it really isn't as wide as it appears! Great snorkeling and if you can dive (130+ feet) then do it! Be prepared if you get sea sick - we had 10-12 ft waves as we left... More

This was an incredible once in a lifetime experience! I always wanted to see the blue hole. Since we were in Belize City for just one day, we booked a plane for a flyover. I cannot put into words how awesome this was! The flight lasted about an hour or so. The view from the sky was spectacular! If you... More

Dove the hole on Monday. I read that you don't see much, so I wasn't sure what to expect from the dive...but wow is it an out of body experience! So worth it! I loved every minute of the descent, the 10 minutes (non) bottom time and the ascent. What a once in a lifetime experience. The follow up dives... More

You have to go see the Blue Hole but don't expect too much, it looks cooler from above. We were able to dive the Blue Hole earler in the week. We are xperienced divers, but this was a new experience because prior to that we had only dove to 100'. For the Blue Hole you have to go to 130'... More

Located 43 miles from the Belize mainland near the center of Lighthouse Reef, the Blue Hole is a giant sinkhole. Circular in shape, it’s over 984 ft. across and 400 ft. deep. The site was made famous by Jacques Cousteau back in 1971 who declared it one of the top 10 dive sites in the world. In 2012, the Blue... More

The hole is a bucket list but I would return a thousand times for the rest of the trip. The surrounding reefs are amazing and above water is paradise!
