Join ACES's Expert Croc Team on an evening, educational, crocodile eye-shine aboard the "Swamp Thing." Search for predatory crocodiles to capture, tag, & re-release to help ACES Biologists collect scientific data on Belize's wild & threatened American crocodiles. (ACES is permitted by the Belize Forest Department.) Your expedition takes you through mangrove islands & into the starlit night while searching for Isla Bonita's extraordinary, nocturnal wildlife and the infamous saltwater crocodiles in their natural habitat. Departing from "The Office Bar & Grill" at 6:30 pm, this extraordinary 2-3 hour expedition is only $50USD per person. All proceeds go to crocodile rescues, research, and education in Belize.

We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Awesome experience and a fascinating education. Chris was so great with the kids answering 4,000 questions as though each was the first time he had been asked (and Ryan was a great spotter and educator as well). This...More

Judging by the other reviews, it's very common to see lots of crocodiles on the tour. We had no such luck - we were out all night and didn't see a single croc. I try to support eco-tourism when I can and I appreciate what...More
