We took the tour to Lamanai by airplane, and it was wonderful in every way! From the start of the day, Christine picked us up at our hotel and took us to their office to pay and get breakfast. Then she took us to the airport, where we got on a small plane for a quick flight (15 minutes or... More

I did the Lamanai tour today, it was fantastic. This was the only tour operator I found that flies directly from San Pedro to Orange Walk. This saved hours of drive time. It was also a very small tour group, only four people which meant we were able to get photos of the temples without anyone in the shot, or... More

My family and I took two tours with this company last Christmas. We booked well ahead of time and the woman I emailed with was very responsive and answered lots of questions I had. The guides were helpful, informative and responsive to our needs. Our first tour was to Lamanai (and we selected the "air" option because we didn't want... More

Visited the ruins at Lamanai with the wife 4 years ago, by boat from San Pedro is a trek! Well over 12 hours in a boat, another boat, a van, yet another boat. Misery! We brought some friends down this trip and i elected to take them to Lamanai by Air, soooo much easier, it's still a boat ride from... More

We really wanted to go to Xunantunich but we weren't sure if we would be able too being on the island. Melvin from Amigo del Mar was amazing. He made our dreams a reality. It was an easy flight and drive to the ruins and definately worth it. Melvin ensured we all had water ( trust me you need it,... More

This group took great care of us from organizing air flights, ground transport, lunches, snacks, event tickets. We had a great day seeing , Mayan castles, a huge zipline, and awesome river tubing tour through caves in the jungle. This trip also gave us a visit on Mainland Belize, tours through several cities including Belize city with commentary on the... More

We could not believe how well organized this trip was. It involved four boat rides, two taxi trips, two bus trips, and two plane flights. All that was missing was donkeys. They provided breakfast and lunch as well. Our guide on the tour, Andy, was incredibly learned on the wildlife of the river, pointing out birds we might have missed,... More

I booked with Amigos and the tour was outstanding, well planned and executed. I stayed in San Pedro. I had read the reviews and I agree to the air (16-18 minute flight) to Orangewalk from san pedro. From Orangewalk you take a bus about 20-minutes to river where you get on a boat ride to Lamanai Mayan sites (About an... More

Cave tubing and the trip to Xunantunic was amazing! Our driver Joe, tubing guide (his name escapes us) and ruins guide Junior were so nice and informative. We loved our trip!

So this was an amazing trip. The only thing is we asked before booking about the amount of walking and of course the 20 minutes of walking we were told about was more like 60 minutes of walking. We had an older guy with us that we knew could not walk far. So we were a little disappointed in that.... More
