Wow! That was fun. The fish love it. No teeth on your hands, just fish lips, so don’t be afraid! Super fun. Wonderful dock!

A very simple yet amazing activity. You buy a tray of baitfish from the lady and feed them to the tarpon. It’s a truly thrilling experience, the fish are big and they hit hard. Not hard to find, just put put tarpon feeding in google maps and it pops up. If you look you can see the massive iguanas they feed here and meet the dogs, too

Pay BZ$5.0 and get 6 sardines. Place a sardine between your fingers and hold you hand out over the dock and the tarpons will jump out of the water and grab the sardine. When it happens you get the fright of your life but it is fantastic to watch and experience.

We had a fabulous 30 mins at the Tarpon dock and will remember it for a long time to come.

Worth every penny of the $5 Belize ($2.50 USD) you pay to feed the tarpons! The tarpon feeding dock is an easy walk from the Split and/or main road on Caye Caulker. The tarpon really do jump out of the water and grab the food right from your hand, making for an exhilirating activity on the island.

Bonus: the women that run the dock also keep food out for the wild iguanas that live in the nearby trees. It was fun to see one of the iguanas on the dock as well.

A lot of the tours say they do tarpons, but you don't need to go with a tour group, you can just go onto the dock and see these majestic fish for yourself. Don't love the feeding of wildlife, but really cool to see them up close.
