Visited in the off season and expected rain. We weren't disappointed. While it rained everyday, the sun came and went as well. No nice beaches and limited activities,but the "go slow" pace is relaxing.

Beer and rum are your cheapest options... Belikin Beer is king, followed by Land Shark (which I didn’t care for) and Lighthouse... go to Amigos grocery and buy it by the case. About $1.25 a bottle US Dollars... with thee... More

Bugs are more prevalent on the Westside of the island. But I didn't find they were bad at all. I think they ramp up during the summer months.
