We were there during high season right after new years. Being in our 60's there was more of a party vibe than we would prefer. The beaches are not your classic Caribbean poster type, don't expect to lounge comfortably in a hammock. There is a...More

I can’t wait to come back! Eating at the local vendors was amazing! I would sometimes buy food and make it in the common area at yumas! Every inch of the island is amazing. I can’t wait to come back again someday!

Caye Caulker is super relaxed and much slower than San Pedro. We did a day trip via water taxi and enjoyed the many options.

Lots to see and do here. Wonderful chill local vibe. Great places to eat and drink. Super convenient for sightseeing, massage, diving and snorkeling

We stopped here for lunch (we were on a snorkeling tour). There are 3 roads - all sand - with little shops, small local hotels, people selling stuff from under tarps or wooden structures. Fun to walk around and see the sights and smell the...More

Caye Calker is a great little spot to “go slow” as numerous signs around the island will advise you to do. I stayed on the North end of the island near the airstrip where propeller plans would depart and land every 20 minutes or so....More

We stopped here as part of a snorkel excursion. It wasn't crowded at all. Food was really good and drinks were strong.

Perfect mix of relaxing, local beach vibes with a selection of more tourist activities. Not over developed like I understand San Pedro to be. We took a day trip from Belize City via the water taxi and were able to have a nice lunch, get...More

LOVE this island! We spent 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The guy that helped us the most during our whole stay is Ivan, we met him on our first taxi ride from the water taxi to our house. He was our...More

You would not be able to swim from the shore to the reef it’s too far the tours are all by boat. I’d say it’s half hour boat ride in quite fast boats and quite dangerous to attemp swimming that far When we arrived to Caye... More

They would definitely still enjoy it! The scenery itself is an attraction. There are plenty of things to do there even if they don’t like to drink. Of course there are bars everywhere, but I wouldn’t think of Caye Caulker as... More
