An awesome island for that getaway. While a tourist destination it didn't have the hustle and bustle of a lot of places like this. Quiet but still has plenty to offer. Good places to eat, some night life and a great place for scuba diving

A good place to swim (no decent beach in Belize City). Especially at the strip between two parts of an island. But beware of the currents!
