We went snorkeling and swam with sharks and stingrays. It was amazing and I would do this again in a heartbeat!

Just wanna say the blue hole is NOT at Turneffe reef, its at Lighthouse reef and advanced divers should know this. Quit confusing people! Turneffe reef is a totally different area altogether which includes the north part or the south part which has "the elbow" and Lighthouse reef is further east which includes "the blue hole" and two other dive... A fantastic place to do check out dives for any skill level, beautiful eagle rays are often seen, and the coral is much healthier than on the barrier reef.

Local guy was awesome. He took us to the perfect spots. We had a blast. How many words does it take to love a trip?

What an amazing experience. This needs to be on everyone's bucket list. Snorkeling is a great way to see all it has to offer. Geting there by boat takes a while but it is certainly worth it.

We went out to the reef and swam with all the fish and rays and it was mind blowing. It was one of the most magical experiences I have ever experienced.

We did a 3 tank dive and loved every minute of it. Make sure you research the Blue Hole before you go out there because it's a lot of travel time, not much to see. So we chose Turneffe over Blue Hole and saw a ton of wildlife with so much variety!

Spent a day with Hugh Parkey's Belize Dive Connection, which is a great outfit. The dive sites were pretty good. While I found the coral, visibility, etc to be comparable to other dive trips through the Caribbean, I thought the sea life was superior. I saw my first nurse shark (thanks to the great dive master that I was lucky... More

Turneffe has several parts: the one-hour away Turneffe "North" which is quite lame, and Turneffe ELBOW, 2 hours away which is like the great dive sites of Cozumel. If you are Belize, the longer out dives are worth it, not so much the shorter ones

We went with EZ boys tours and they were great. Turneffe is about 1 1/2 hours away through some rough water so that in itself, was an experience. If you are prone to sea sickness this is not the place for you. We stopped to snorkel at 3 different spots and it was absolutely amazing! We saw fish and coral... More
