Amazing art and hospitality. You get the know the story behind art and the artist. It is also a reflection of the culture of Belize.

I loved my time visiting the We Art Gallery! Dr. Palacio was a generous and informative host. My partner and I were visiting as he was finalizing his preparation for his art show this past weekend. He was very open with sharing technique and history of each of the pieces in the gallery. If you visit Punta Gorda this is... More

Dr. Ludwig Palacio gave us a captivating glimpse into the live of the Belizean people. He is an amazing artist, sculptor and poet. A true inspiration and a wonderful gallery to visit when visiting PG (Punta Gorda).

So I decided to stop by southern belize as part of my Central America tour and I was recommended to go visit this little art gallery /museum. And I must commend the extraordinary effort and time the owners put into their little place. Very interesting pieces of art and old tools that were around since slavery days. It's really cool... I visited this gallery today and was amazed how amateurish it was. The exhibion set up is like being in someone's storage room. There are pieces of art placed everywhere in a bad order. The quality of art is not good. Moreover they charge either 5 belizian dollars to enter or 10 belizian if you want a 'guided' tour. I... More

Punta Gorda is a small town with not too much for the tourist. This was a nice little museum/art gallery that provided what we had been missing. We spent quite a bit of time talking with the gallery owner and his wife---both whom were very interesting. If you are going to be in Punta Gorda itself for a day or... More

Stop by and have a chat with the owners. They know alot about history of Garifuna people and the culture of Punta Gorda and Belize. They were super friendly and we chatted for about 40 minutes. They charged 10 Belize each for a short "tour" of the gallery. There's not much to do in Punta Gorda, so I would take... More

Having come up a loss of things to do in Punta Gorda, we decided to check out the gallery. Turns out, it is the owners old home, reconverted into a gallery to reflect their love of art. We spoke with their son, who told us different things about some of the pieces that used to be his grandfathers and the... More
