The gardens were absolutely beautiful. Many walking trails to view the manicured grounds (almost Like an English garden). Birds and koi ponds. Green plants everywhere even in walkways to rooms.

This is one of the most well kept and beautiful gardens that we visited while touring Guatemala. Staying at the hotel makes this a must visit.

Behind large iron gates lies a tranquil garden of well maintained beds and interesting variety of plants. Pleasurable to walk around, smell the jasmine and gardenia, view roses and hibiscus and well trimmed boxwood.

Lovely gardens surrounding the hotel. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and orioles in the blooming trees. The variety of blooming plants are breathtaking. And the parrots and macaws were pretty, too!

Don't think of it as paying an "entry fee" into the gardens as some other reviewers have commented. Rember you're having a pleasant lunch with a stunning view of the lake and volcanoes AND you get to walk around the gardens with wild parrots and...More
