The Sweet Spot Honduras is located on the English speaking Caribbean island...

The Sweet Spot Honduras is located on the English speaking Caribbean island of Guanaja. 20 miles offshore from the mainland, but a world apart. One of the most serene islands in the Caribbean. It is a kiteboarder's dream, as it blows 15 to 30 knots throughout the summer from April through to August. Flat, warm Caribbean water with sandbars to rest on. Waves outside the reef during periods of increased swell. Take an activities package, to explore the neighboring islands or do a downwinder back to your Cabana, and get free kite rental for the rest of the day. On all our kite activities your kite will be inflated and set up for you so you can just ride - no pumping! Come join us at the Sweet Spot for a holiday of a lifetime. It is not only for kiteboarder, as there are plenty of non wind activities to do. Including snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, SUP, fishing, hiking and boat tours. Something for everybody and good for families and couple alike.

Fantastic place, wind, water, people, staff, gear, instruction. Came for a medical mission (Medkite.org) / kiteboarding trip. Everything was great. I was an intermediate rider but with just a few tips from Mike got a lot better really quick. Also Nuno and Homer are great and can and will help with anything. The waterfall tour and bio-light boat ride were... More

Mike and the Sweet Spot team made our trip to Guanaja because they were such excellent hosts and superior instructors. We specifically selected Sweet Spot because Mike is a well know instructor with regular kiting camps, and I’m a beginner who needed a lot of instruction! Nuno (a.k.a Jefferson) was my main instructor, and I found him to be extremely... More

I spent almost 3 weeks at the sweet spot in June/July. Wind everyday, if we wanted we could have kited every day. Possibly one of the best places I have ever kite boarded and I have been to a lot. Perfect for beginners through to advanced. Plenty of space to ride and a variety of conditions. Incredibly friendly staff. Jefferson,... More

My girlfriend and I just returned from Sweet Spot where Mike and his staff couldn't have taken better care of us. We were on the island for 7 days and had excellent wind every day. I didn't bring my own gear but rode mostly on the 10, 8, or 7. The later in the afternoon you ride, the smaller you'll... More

Just got back from my second trip to the Sweet Spot for a kiting trip and it was fantastic - and we didn't even kite! One of our group must have offended the wind gods as we got two consecutive light wind days which never happens over there! But in the end none of us minded (and we do love... More

Awesome trip for a long weekend. Mike really took care of you on and off the water. I'm a beginner and Mike was an excellent coach during my lessons. Looking to make it at least an annual trip.

Had a fantastic long weekend kiting with the Sweetspot in Honduras. Excellent service from Mike and Virginia, all I had to do was ride and take in the view. Will be back again for sure.
