We went to Little French Key for the day via a cruise. It was amazing for families or couples. I love Bora Bora and this had the same vibe secluded yet many activities. The food was very good to my surprise. The kids loved snorkeling, kayaking and jumping off the platform. It is also like a mini zoo with a... More

This past summer, my family and I visited Little French Key and were amazed at how magnificent the place is. The crystal clear waters, numerous activities to do and not to mention the wonderful service we received. Brenetta, was our host for the day, she welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. Throughout our stay,... More

WOW! Although this place wasn't on the Carnival cruise ship's Shore excursions list, our travel agent let us in on this place. So nice. Hang out at the beach, go snorkeling, eat the local fare, see their zoo... What a great place to relax. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Me, my hubby and 11 year old daughter went here and loved it! As soon as we walked in and my daughter saw the water and beach that was a done deal. She only came out of the water to eat. She had a blast jumping off the platform into the ocean over and over again, I even tried it... More

I booked this excursion through Rumi a few months before setting sail and boy did they undersell it big time. This was the highlight of our cruise and we look forward to getting back down there. You do have to walk out to the gate at the port entry since they can not come inside and from there it is... More

Visited Little French Key on our 1st trip to Roatan. It was easy to find Larry just outside the cruise ship terminal and we had no problems even though we didn't have a reservation. Everything was smooth and efficient. Great facilities, great beaches, good snorkeling, the little monkey loved to have his head scratched. Brenetta took great care of us,... More

We stopped in Roatan on the Carnival Breeze and booked the beach plus package with guided snorkel tour. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Wish the guided snorkeling tour would have been longer so we grabbed the gear when we got back to the beach area and snorkeled around little French key by ourselves. Loved the monkeys... More

I am wondering about package pricing and value. Has anyone done LFK's VIP package at $163/pp? States that it includes:

1.Round trip transportation to and from our facilities and a comfortable boat ride to Little French Key Private Island

2.Great and delicious Fresh island Style Lunch served on the private island, which includes Beef Skewers, Barbecued Lobster and Shrimp, marinated chicken breast, fresh homemade yucca chips, fresh homemade salsa, rice and beans and Island salad

3.6 drinks of your choice

4.Use of all our facilities and all non-motorized equipment such as snorkeling equipment, Paddle Boards Kayaks, chase lounges, etc……

5.Guided Tour of our Private Zoo with friendly and tamed Monkeys, Macaws, Parrots, Toucans, Island Rabbit and Island Deer, rescued lion and many more.

6.Guided snorkel tour of the adjacent reef (the second largest in the world) with a very short boat ride with personal English speaking guide.

7.Horseback swimming with a guide

8.Your own VIP area with personal waiter

9.Personal interaction with rescued animals.

10.20 minutes massage on the beach or in one of our beautiful private rooms.

A few questions: Has anyone done this? Feedback would be appreciated :) I am also wondering if it is worth it to rush off of the ship to meet up with their drivers. Would you then have to wait until their shuttle is full or are there multiple ones running at the same time? Can anyone speak as to the Zoo personal interaction? I have 7 and 9 year old boys and they saw the jaguar online and are literally dying to pet him. Do you get to pet/interact with any big cats? Is Simba back yet? We will be there in November. CAN'T WAIT!!
