We paid for a private guide from the lodge. It included lunch (the typical fried whole little snapper) from the village people. The driver (1hr from lodge at least), 2 boatmen, snorkling equipment included for about $170 per person.

Actually I've used boats leaving from Sambo Creek, near La Ceiba on mainland. Nevertheless if you want to leave from Roatan you can find information at the Bananarama Hotel in West Bay.
