Cayos Cochinos is an amazing spot with great diving and snorkelling! Highly recommend staying at Turtle Bay Eco Resort to experience this amazing spot.

Locals pressured us to make purchases of local craft items. We did not want to purchase items made from endangered tortoise shells. Local adults pressured us to tip for services like showing us the location of the restroom. When snorkeling you were required to hold...More

After spending 7 days seeing 1000 people in our Mission Medical, VBS & eye care we spend a day on this little side excursion. It was great. We had lunch on the island. Don't pay the extra for the Shrimp, it is not worth it....More

Simply stunning. It was an easy boat ride from our hotel (Palma Real) to the islands. We spent one day snorkeling and we wished we had done a couple more.

Loved every moment of Cayos. A must-see. Snorkeling was fun. Only US$40 for slightly more than half a day. Take the boat from Sambo Creek.

This is a must visit site, enjoy snorkeling, the view, food, clear seas and swimming. If you take the same day boat trip, make sure you return early, if possible right after lunch, the sea is very dangerous after noon. Have a great time!

We handed out as a gift the lantern we took for ourselves, since they lack light at night, everyone uses a hand lantern to walk around. But we only gave it to a kid who was helping us get around, not to everyone.

Actually I've used boats leaving from Sambo Creek, near La Ceiba on mainland. Nevertheless if you want to leave from Roatan you can find information at the Bananarama Hotel in West Bay.
