This is the best playground in Athens-Clarke county, hands down. The only issue is that it gets super crowded during certain times, which makes it less enjoyable. I recommend coming (if you can) on weekdays before 3pm. We like to come in the morning or around lunchtime for a picnic.

The address on TripAdvisor appears to be for Southeast Clarke Park. Google maps indicates that the World of Wonder Playground is at: 325 Whit Davis Rd Athens, GA 30605 The original section is roped off for maintenance, but the new section is hopping with activity.

We let the kids run free here. They had a blast. There is a restroom and limited parking. The park itself is clean and well maintained. On a Sunday it was very busy but the kids didn't mind at all. Your biggest challenge after parking will be getting the kids back in the car. Great job Athens, come teach Atlanta... More

I was hoping to bring a group of kids from 4 to 12 years old, but it is definitely not for older kids

I convinced myself I was lost, had the address wrong in the GPS or had just totally lost my mind. This playground is under construction and not accessible. If it is accessible, I couldn't find how to get to it, there were no signs or visual clues to it still being functional! The Park area with baseball fields, a skate... More

We set a play day date for my kids and choose this park. There is only one bathroom, not near the playground, and there are construction activities in progress, but we still liked the location and the playground is huge and secure

This was a great playground. The playground itself is divided into two parts, one for smaller kids and one for bigger. The smaller one doesn't have a ton of stuff if you have an active toddler but the bigger one is huge, with lots of nooks for kids to explore. There is also an open area with a "dragon" kids... More

We visit this park pretty regularly and our kids always enjoy exploring the equipment and making new friends. It's a really large structure with all kinds of different places to hide, climb, balance, and swing. It's ususally pretty busy, so it's a good place to meet new friends! There are several different areas to play in and some structures are... More

Great place for kids to run around and be free. Lots of monkey bars, stairs, slides, hide outs and places to discover. Lots of fun. Glad we made this stop.
