There are likely a lot of locals who are not aware that this beautiful facility is here for their enjoyment. Yes, there are very nominal entry fees and you can bring your kids, dogs and even your horses! 782 acres of well cared for and...More

I have a large service dog, she's still a puppy and needs to run like Forrest! We took her here to play and it was very nice. Next time we will reserve a private area just for her and our other dog.

Hiked the, approximately 7 mile, trail around the lake today. Easy terrain, but distance was enough for a workout. Took our dog; she loved it too. Sunny and shady parts, some bridges, quiet, peaceful hike! Would highly recommend.

From the couldn't be more disinterested gal staffing the "I don't want to help you" desk to the laughably poorly marked trails, this place is a bit of a joke. Odd with a nice nature center and some upscale wooden boardwalks radiating from it. Once...More

I took my toddler to the beach and it was very nice. Really great place for families for a cheap weekend activity.

There is a boat launch between the entrance and the beach area that you can use if you have your own kayak. It's always been easy to use and has plenty of parking.
