We did the 8 mile round trip hike (to waterfalls and back) and not only was this my favorite thing in Kauai, it's one of the best things I've done. First of all, this trail is not for everyone. Im athletic and it was still...More

Most beautiful scenery we saw in 8 days on Kauai. The hike took us about 2.5 hours to do the first leg. We did not hike on to the waterfalls. The views were breathtaking. Not really an easy hike but not too challenging that you...More

This one of those trails where you get to experience a bit of everything - beaches, stream crossings, cool ocean breeze, elevation gains and drops, mud, sweat, people jogging up and down the trail as if it's a walk in the park, people in flip...More

We hiked this trail all the way to the beach. We started about 9AM due to the morning rain. The overflow parking lot was just starting to be utilized. The trial was a challenge due to the slippery mud, but the views were worth it....More

One of the most beautiful hikes anywhere on earth. Granted it's not a stroll, but you can go as far as you want - even a short hike is well worth the effort. It's a no miss for sure.

IF YOU CAN HANDLE a steep grade, muddy, slippery, rocky, unstable hike, then definitely go. Just remember trail manners and allow others to pass and keep your distance behind other hikers. The 2 mile in and out should take about 3-4 hours. PLEASE WEAR PROPER...More

So I am older and not in good shape so we did the 1/2 mile hike to the Napali Coast look-out. For me very strenuous but well worth it. For younger people and those in better shape no problem. As others have stated it is...More

I'm not sure about your hiking abilities, but I wouldn't recommend hiking with a 15 month baby because the trail is very muddy and slippery. Some parts can be steep too. So, it can be a medium to difficult hike itself and... More
