Entry fee is $5 with military and elderly exempt. This little light house and bird sanctuary is worth the $5 and is a fun stop if you're driving down Kuhio Highway. Stretch your legs, take pictures of the birds and check out this classic white and red light house.

This is a not-to-be-missed site! The view is truly amazing, from crashing ocean waves to the red-footed boobie rookery on the side of the cliff. Fun little gift shop, clean restrooms and knowledgeable volunteers are additional pluses. We also got to see Nenes, the state bird of HI.

This light house is on the edge of cliffs. Lots of sea birds flying and good view of ocean. May have seen a whale spout, but not sure. This year the whales came in earlier than usual and have been leaving earlier than usual. Come before March to make sure you can see them up close. The light house is... More

Stopped here on our way to the North shore. Lighthouse was beautiful. Did not pay the extra fee to go in it though. Beautiful clear day. Birds were very active & there were a few whale sightings during our time there. Wonderful views of the ocean & coastline.

Picture perfect especially on a clear day. Accessible by car with ample parking if you arrive early. Not much to do but a very good spot to take a bunch of pictures.

We were nearby having a coffee break and decided to drive out to see the Lighthouse. It was very enjoyable with views that were fantastic. We also saw whales while we were there and they were spouting s so it was very cool. We were able to park close in a handicap spot as one in our party is handicap... More

Good for a visit if for no other reason than to orient oneself as this lighthouse is at the northern most point on the island. There is free parking outside the main entrance for a half dozen or so vehicles. Otherwise, the fee is $5.00 and a quarter mile hike to the lighthouse which has been reopened after a long... More

This is a popular attraction. Arrive early if you want a tour of the lighthouse. The tours fill up quickly. Great views and interesting information on birds and marine mammals. We got good looks at some nene geese hanging out there. Lots of birds. Nicely kept up facilities.

Tried to go into the Lighthouse, itself, but there was @ least a 60 min wait. The fee is $10 to park & go into the Lighthouse. But there is available parking just outside the light-house (free) and you can walk to a trail where you can see the light house, cliffs & ocean & get some great photos. Not... More
