Nice beach, but Poipu next door is nicer for snorkeling. But there is always a sea turtle or a monk seal sleeping on Brennecke's Beach. Some great volunteers always but up barriers to keep people from getting too close. So, enjoy the Hawaiian wildlife and...More

Very nice beach, somewhat protected in close by a cove . Life guard at this beach. Pavilions for eating and sitting. Lots of families on this beach. Some shallow areas for children. Very nice place.

Went here with the family. Had a reservation and was seated promptly, people that were coming in without reservations were having to wait so best to get one before you go. The food was all good. Overall a very enjoyable dinner.

This is up from Poipu Beach, this is the opposite of sprawling crowded beach with lots of sand and room.Once we evaluated this beach area, virtually no one was there. Some rough looking lava rocks and very little sand told us it might be a...More

If facing the beach area, check out the rocks on the right. There are turtles that feed on the rocks nearby. Saw turtles both times we visited. HOW COOL?!! Visit early when tide is low so you can walk out on rocks. Beware of waves...More

This was a great beach for kids. Its an area protected by a rock enclosure so there were no waves. Great tide pools for little kids and lots of shallow areas. Great place to snorkel. Best part was watching the green sea turtles come out...More

This beach is easily swimmable and in walking distance of beachfront restaurants; lots of good snorkeling, turtle watching and we got to see resting monk seals. This beach does get crowded though and rather noisy, so keep that in mind.

Perfect waves for boogie boarding, plus watching close-in dolphins and turtles made this a favorite place! Stake out a spot on the beach early. Close shops provided rash guard shirts, shave ice, and drinks for the parents!

The waves were HUGE when we where at Brennecke's beach, which was great for us and our teenagers. Younger children can catch the smaller waves closer to shore. Rocky on either side, so make sure to steer clear! Two or three turtles were bobbing around...More
