Well maintained state parc, grass for rigging, trees for shade, showers, restrooms, all is there. Parking only a couple of yards away from the ocean.

The windsurfing at Kanaha is great. The water is fairly flat and has strong and consistent winds. There are a lot of windsurfers, so a lot of help is available from locals. Lots of grass areas to setup your rig and to get relax when your not on the water.

It was a little ghetto with mostly locals. The beach itself is awesome. Clear water with tons of parking and a lot of amenities.

This was the most expensive camping we found in maui at $20 per person per night ($40 per night for the two of us). They only accept cashier's checks or cash as payment, and the application was more rigorous than what I went through for my job with the federal government. We subsequently decided we didn't want to stay here... More

This is a large park and beach located behind the airport that has no signage. Access is either from the port road or continuing through the car rental area to the beach. The park has multiple parking lots with toilets and showers. The shore has great shady areas under tall trees, grassy areas for picnicking or playing sports. This is... More

This is a bad place to camp. The other campers are almost entirely homeless people, both in the official camp sites as well as in other places and the parking lot was full of derelict vehicles with people camping and sleeping in them. I was not at all comfortable camping here. There are not any working showers in the camping... More

I was vanning around maui and came across this amazing spot. It is a large park with clean restrooms and an outdoor shower. There is an expansive lawn under large mature trees. I loved the fact that the park had something to offer for everyone. Beach, lawn and trees for shade. Kick back have a picnic and enjoy the view.... More
