Stayed in Hana for 4 days...went to a lot of the beaches and this was our favorite. Water was awesome, sand was solid, beautiful and pretty quiet...not a ton of ppl, which is nice. A must to hang out at if in Hana.

I just love this beach. The soft white sand, the gentle eaves and cool breeze sums it up. You can walk into the water for about 40 yards and it's only waist deep. This makes it excellent and safe for adults and kids to enjoy...More

According to Hawaiian legend, Koki Beach is where the volcano goddess, Pele fought her final battle with her older sister, Namakaokahai, the goddess of the ocean. It was dangerous for Pele and the locals still warn of the danger when swimming.

The beach it's in a tight corner of out rocks and has easy access and great shade from the tree line. The sand in the water goes out quiet a ways and isn't very deep. However the waves and the water movement is very trickey...More
