Lots of people at the beach trying to relax. There is a small pool (naturally formed I guess) where children can hangout with some toys. I was there for an evening walking along the coastline - had great fun eating, meeting new people

The beach is not as crowded as the rest of the Waikiki beaches. However, there is lots of rocks in the water so it's not ideal to play in the water there. Water is calm. Lagoon is protected by rocks do almost no waves or very small. Good surf spot Kaiser is close by. At the end of the parking... More

Relaxing at the Duke Kahanamoku Beach is worth taking in the sun, wonderful beverages, tasty large nachos, good service, fireworks are enjoyable although, the number of people during can be overwhelming.

Waikiki is one long beach with hotels, restaurant and shops. Duke Kahanamoku Beach is just one of many. Like all the others it is gorgeous, especially at sunset. Catch the weekly fireworks.

We had a great time!!!! The food is superb, the drinks were great, and the ice cream and cake was delicious and not too expensive for what you got.

My kids (12 and 15 years old) enjoyed the sand bottom and lack of waves in the lagoon, when they wanted a break from the ocean. I would think that this would be ideal for anyone with really little kids, if the waves at the beach are too much. Nice place to relax and read a book, while the kids... More

It's a very nice but busy Beach where you can walk around, relax on the sand or just stop by for lookout. Parking is difficult to find. There are alot of people at this beach but nevertheless it was a fantastic sunset

Very popular and a little tricky to find but the food was great! The fish tacos were amazing and the ribs are some of the best I ever had!! Great views of the water and beach, great service, great everything. Only downside would be the wait. One hour and 15 minutes but you will know why once you dig in.

Even though it's very crowded this is a fun beach to walk down in the evenings to enjoy a nice stroll
