I'm pretty sure I found the right spot. I was so excited to go here to look at the tide pools. Instead I found several tents set up for people to live in. There was quite a bit of trash laying around on the ground...More

Absolute gorgeous view. I plan to have this Makapuu point for my future wedding photoshoot. It's very easy to get to if you keep driving east beyond the Hanuama Bay. The view is absolutely stunning from the lookout, but what makes this point different and...More

Well worth the stop for the outstanding views of Rabbit Island and Kāohikaipu Island State Seabird Sanctuary, Makapu'u beach. Can be windy though, but great views.

Beautiful spot for taking pictures of the coast line and the blue ocean. The parking is free but the lot is not very large.

Beautiful drive in the area of the island. Loved the view. The waves were crashing in to the rocks and the water was a beautiful blue. Great place for pictures.

A quick stop here is well worth the view out to Manana (Rabbit) Island and along the coast. From the high vantage point the ocean color really pops!

Went there with my husband on September 2nd. We went too late but we still had a glimpse of the view. There were few parking spaces in the lookout. It was so windy but the view was really spectacular. We saw some people hiked to...More

We enjoyed going to the point to watch the surfers and waves. We didn't do any exploring as the waves were huge (day before hurricane hit). It also made for some fun pics. On lighter days, the beach is awesome!
