We stopped here on our way up the North Shore. There are awesome views of the mountains, islands, and ocean. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Great, very large beach with great views. There are bathrooms (not so clean) and lots of parking with a few picnic tables. Great place to spend the day with the kids.

Absolutely beautiful water, the small crashing waves were the best for teen boys. The Waimanalo beach was the favourite. There were no people.

Beautiful spot with a beach overlooking Mokoli'i Island and Kane'eohe Bay and with the Ko'olau Mountains forming the backdrop to the regional park. This spot was used in the filming of Jurassic Park and the view of these mountains rising straight into the air is quite stunning. I was hoping to kayak out to Mokoli'i Island to do some hiking but could not find anywhere to rent a kayak. It was quite windy that day so kayaking may have been a mistake anyway but I'm not sure if kayak rental is available on other days. Nevertheless, I was able to get some spectacular photos during the visit.

Bus#60 from Ala Moana Centre towards East. Big park with beach overlooking Chinaman’s hat island, good for family picnic. Public bathroom not that clean.

The views are great, the waves are calm, but if you came with the intention of letting kids play in the water or dig in the sand beware. TONS OF MAN-O-WAR!!!! They were washed up on the beach and in the water. They can still sting when dead. We collected 20-25 of them to clear our beach area, and found that a good handful washed up while we sat in chairs enjoying the view.

The bathrooms were filthy. Human feces smeared all over the bathroom doors and toilets.

Not the experience we were hoping for. Family of 7 with kids ranging from 16 down to 7

The beach was much calmer than areas in Waikiki. It was nice just to sit and take in the views, the rustling of the water, and breezes. There are a few picnic tables but we had brought beach chairs and towels to sit on. Plenty of parking was available the day we were there, and it was worth the drive up there for relaxation and scenery.

Awesome tour and was great to get some fun stories and history from our guides. We had the privilege of having Vernon and Tony as guides and they were both knowledgeable and chill guys who made everyone laugh and cheerful from beginning to end. Thank you guys for the awesome day and highly recommend the tour to everyone for the beautiful views and history of the lands.
