My photo basically tells it all. Yet since I *should* write something; Mesa Falls is an easy 5 minute walk from a small visitor center downhill (both via steps or via a ramp). There are several different angles to view. The visitor center is only...More

Mesa Falls is one of the most beautiful places to visit. Amazing views of the Falls. Definitely worth the visit.

Absolutely breathtaking - I personally loved this view even more than the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone!! The Junior Forest Ranger program was a lot of fun for our two young children. This is definitely a "hidden gem" in Idaho. Well worth the stop!

Along the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway, you cross the Warm River, where you can stop to feed the trout. Get cheese puffs in advance - they love it! It's fun to watch the fish go after the food. Also along the route, you see the...More

I have lived in Idaho almost my entire life and had never gone to the falls. They are beautiful! Part of a larger park, Harriman, I highly recommend it to those who like to trail hike. It is also a nice stop for a picnic....More

We see the falls in the summer and they are great, but in the winter you get to see something special. So beautiful with the mist and the clear water. Truly a beautiful place to see. We will visit it again.

One of the must go to scenic places in Idaho. Well kept board walks with railing provide safety while walking to the falls.

A must to see if you're in the area. Very relaxing in the middle of the woods. The river and waterfall and surroundings are just awesome.

I'm not sure where you are driving from; but, Mesa Falls is on your way to Island Park, Idaho. You would need to backtrack a couple of hours to reach Jackson Hole. There is a turn off not far from Rexburg, Idaho that will... More

Hi, Alan H. has given you a good picture of the Highway 20. We have pulled our 35ft. fifth wheel that way on several occasions. Highway 47 that takes you to the Falls is also a good road. Enjoy Idaho!
