You get a great view of the mighty Mississippi from Alton to Grafton at river level. It only takes about 25 minutes. The foliage is great in the fall and hopefully you can see some barges, small boats or even a paddle wheeler.

It felt as if I was transported to a different country. Absolutely stunning with tons of reasons to stop along the way to eat, drink, take in the views or purchase souvenirs and antiques. 10 out of 10.

Beautiful drive in the Fall. Go up to Grafton and spend the day or keep going up into Calhoun Co. Plenty of places to eat in Grafton. Also stop at Pere Marquette State Park the Fall foliage can't be beat

it's huge over 500 miles . I just did a 33 mile run. so you can pick and choose where an when to stop.

Yes. There is the "Grafton Adventure". We just did a couple Ferry rides to go back and forth. So don't know about fares.
