Described as "the most beautiful track in America", Arlington began Thoroughbred racing on October 13, 1927, when more than 20,000 fans braved the cold weather to celebrate the event in high style. Since then, Arlington International has become a social destination and perfect summer hangout to watch and wager on the amazing sport of Thoroughbred horse racing! Arlington offers beautiful venues for everything from corporate outings to reunions to weddings, and it's the ideal spot for groups of friends to catch-up, watch the ponies and meet new people. From Miller Lite Party in the Park on Friday, to Miller Lite Horses & Hops on Saturdays, to Sunday Family Days presented by Daily Herald and Lipton Iced Tea, it's always a great time!

Arlington Park is a great facility to spend a nice day with friends. Food pretty much sucks but let’s be honest. That is not why you go there. The horses are not the greatest due to narrow minded people who will not allow slots. Their...More

Horse racing at its finest at the premier venue in the United States. The grounds are gorgeous and the service is superb. Give it a try next time you're in the Chicago area.

Just a way to spend a day relaxing, betting, eating and taking in the sights. This particular track has an indoor area to sit if you are not an outdoor person to watch the races. You can go visit the horses before they race. There...More

I feel that as long as you bring in your own food, don't over indulge in the adult beverages (as they are pricey), and bring kiddos their own drinks, you can have a great time without breaking the bank. We don't bet when we go...More

I didn't walk away as a winner from this race track but I did break even. Most importantly, I enjoyed the city doing something different besides visiting landmarks.

Recently had an opportunity to visit this track for a social fund raiser. Great food and drinks-easy betting-and easy losing. Nice way to spend an afternoon outside.

Yes. As the person above stated, many people park along the fence line. They have a great view from there, plus they avoid the traffic jam when it's over.
