Fun for the kids

It is a fun place to go with the kids on a nice day during the spring and summer. The kids really love it.

The zoo is not exactly a zoo but for the price of $0 you can't argue. Small so not worth a long trip to get to but if local more than an interesting diversion. Alligators, cougar, wolf, bald eagles and some really nicely landscaped grounds. Staff were friendly. Can probably complete the zoo in about 30 minutes though. It's free... More

There is so much to do. Hiking, picnicking, touring the zoo or visitors center, golfing, swimming, and much more. This park has gone through many changes through the years, but is better than ever. Clean and family friendly for everyone.

This a free zoo so you can't expect the world. It's a neat little park that is worth an hour of your time to see. The highlight is the reptile house that houses a couple of alligators several turtles and snakes. Other must sees include several different types of birds ,a mountain lion and some Elk . Why not stop,check... More

Phillips Park zoo is a very clean and nice park to go on a picnic with family or on a date. The zoo is very small but has a lot to see, from eagles to alligators. The playgrounds are fun and exciting. The park its self is gorgeous and lovely to walk around. It is also a landmark for where... More

If you go in the spring, the garden area is absolutely beautiful. Have seen people taking wedding pictures and families also taking pictures. The little zoo is perfect for the little kids -some animals outside, some inside.

Then you arrive to a waterfall. plenty of parking throughput the park. They have a small lake, tables throughout , kids play area, volleyball area with sand. This zoo is tiny compared to Lincoln Park or Brookfield but it's great because you don't have the massive crowds. I'm not a fan of zoos in particular but if the animals are there due to injury or rehabilitation (which some are) it's interesting to see how they're being helped. They do have a lot of field trips that come... More
