We received a personal tour of the museum by the resident historian whose English is impeccable and love for her topic is evident. We strayed into African literature and history, while learning so much more about the Algerian Revolution. Do this!

Unfortunately was the tower not open, so we had the fantastic view over the harbour and the White City not from the top. But nevertheless, the view is brilliant.

No thing to do , just the monument is good but there is one mobile site over it make the view not good. There is inside it one museum for the revolution of Algeria contains a lot of interesting things. The museum is working till 7 PM and even on Friday.

It's pretty interesting to get such a close look at the history of the country. The "war place" might be the most thrilling for some people but I personally wouldn't advice taking children into that specific zone of the museum. It's too realistic. Everything else is alright

A local tower which I believe there is some history. But I was not able to communicate to our French speaking driver of the day. You cant actually go under the tower, guards were there and they seal it with those banner tape.

This monument is beautiful more so the history of Algerian independence and the sacrifices made. Few cafes still open here and some shops. Have visited this place a few times and this place hasn't got much to offer if you have been before. The museum is worth a visit if you come here though. Big place for the kids to... More
