A vast improvement from a decade ago according to my husband. It certainly is actually lovely place to walk along, clean, spacious with plenty of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours etc. Great for families, couples, and singles alike.

Lively promenade comes to life every night after the sunset. You can find many salesmen trying to sell you whatever you can imagine - kids toys, illegal stuff, henna tattoos etc. Restaurant workers are quite persuasive when asking you to try their place. There is a childrens playground with bouncy houses etc.

Take advantage of the beautiful views and surroundings. Walk to the left as far as you can until the Kings guards stop you and to the right to see other hotels, restaurants and the beautiful mountains!

We love walking along the well maintained plage de Agadir. It takes us a good hour to get to the marina for a coffee stop. Ok you have to run the gauntlet of street sellers, but they do listen to you. Always kept clean and manned by security guards with guns. I love walking along . Lots to see and... More

The promenade buzzes with activity. Joggers, walkers, cyclists, strollers, people watchers and those pesky hawkers. At weekends the prom is filled with families, from babies to grandparents, all out together, enjoying their free time. The vast stretches of sand somehow transforms into dozens of football pitches, with patches of team colours moving in each space like small swarms of insects.... More

Restaurants and bars, beggars and bike rental... You've got it all! Either for a short stroll or a long walk toward the end of the public beach.

Without this prom there would be nothing! A great place to people watch but you really do get hassled by the hawkers!
