If you like fish, this is a must! The atmosphere is truly Moroccan and the fish fresh and delicious. We had lunch there three times this visit - the first time at Restaurant Laayoune for very good cheap fish tagine, and the second time to the same restaurant with friends, where we had an excellent fish friture. The third time... More

As you approach the fishing port you are immediately surrounded by people who want to show you their restaurant, we were very nearly conned into sitting down to a big platter of fish, but having been told by a fellow traveler how they paid over 900 dirham for three people we were wise to it. Go to restaurant 133 and... More

Conflicting information as to the accessibility of the fishing port. Staff in our hotel insisted that it was accessible to tourista but the security guy on the gate said that it wasn't, which confirmed what recent travellers' comments had also said.

The fishing part of the marina is now a restricted area and the public can no longer wonder round there, this is a shame because in the past I have spent many happy hours there

Not allowed access anymore as per guide. Not sure of the reason but still close to the marina and can overlook from the Kasbah.

Fishing appears to be a very important part of lives of Agadir residents, whether for their livelihood or as an important part of diet. Lots of activity with tons of fish being handles

Fresh fish with local flair...fantastic quality...not a gourmet experience with no table cloth, paper napkins and just raw local flair...loved it....we had a 1kilo Shrimp, large sea bass for two and a 5 lb lobster with soft drinks for 35 euro.... absolutely fantastic dining experience , eatting with your fingers but licking them clean :)... not for the feint hearted... We visited this as part of an organised tour. From passing the fishing boats still constructed using ancient methods, to the boats unloading, the sights sounds and smells are magnificent. The locals are friendly and polite and invite you to take photos etc.
