It was the old Agadir on this hill, and after the earthquake in 1960 now it is just ruins. Many locals sell souvenirs and others have camels trying to get some cash. Very nice view over the beach, fish port, the marina and the promenade.

It goes without saying one to visit the Promanade you will see this mountain everywhere so it's definitely worthwhile going up the mountain and having a look at the entire coat of Agadir which goes on for approximately 3 km. The views in the daytime or extraordinary but people forget it is even more beautiful at night because you can... More

Nice view of Agadir from the top! You will also see lots of men and their camels up there just waiting to take pictures of you and their camels. I would recommend the ride up there. It's simply beautiful and worth it.

Definitely a cool spot to see Agadir. Best view in town. Local salesmen can be irritating at times and they charge to park whether you are their 5 minutes or 25 minutes. There are a few guys up there that will give a good tour and story. Definitely a must see/do location.

We didn't know anything about Agadir Kasbah before booking an Agadir city tour with Couscoustrips! Redouan (Couscous) told us the story of the earthquake and we were amazed how they kept this site full of history unexplored. All respect for Morocco for respecting their sacred history because i'm sure if this site was in other countries it would have been... More

I go here every time I visit Agadir, you can see the beautiful view of the beach & buildings. There are a lot of little shops & you can ride a camel if you wish. The best time to go here is in the evening, try to stay up there so you can see the sunset.
