Youssef was very prompt in his responses to plan this trip. We went with Ibrahim Bouhayek, who was very courteous, professional and made us feel comfortable on our 3 day trip from Fes to Marrakesh. He was very knowledgeable and provided us all the relevant information. We did the camel rides at sunset and sunrise, went to Ifrane, Midelt, the gorges, valleys, Atlas Studios, Ait Ben Haddou, passed by kasbahs, stayed at a very nice hotel Babylon Dades Gorge (make sure to check out the moon and stars at night - absolutely magical!); the hotel staff knows how to play the instruments - amazing. We saw the snake road from there where MI movie with Tom Cruise was shot, saw monkey finger mountains, saw caves where nomads live during winter. All of this, Ibrahim made sure we got to see. So if you have not done your homework of your Sahara desert trip (like us lol), just sit back, relax and let them take you for a ride (literally!). Just make sure you carry enough water in the car, be prepared for long drives, windy roads (ginger tablets help a lot), keep yourself hydrated, you may have to eat at overpriced restaurants for lunch (120 MAD). Keep in mind the luxury tents are farther than the shared ones so your camel ride will be about 20-30 minutes longer than the others. Do make sure you take pictures, videos from your camel ride, and at sunrise from the camp - if you are lucky, you will see the sun and moon at the same time on either sides. As you can probably tell already, we had a great time.
