Very lively area but must visit with a Guide Who knows the area well. I visited with Adil, whom I contacted via Riad Mazar. Short tour takes about three hours is worth about 25 euros but worth every penny.

So much to see! Very interesting great place to take pictures and to experience. Lots of hidden treasures behind the old decrepit walls.

Fez is out of the way but certainly authentic. Hard to find your way around but we enjoyed our experience. The Ruined Garden Restaurant was in our Hotel. We loved the hotel and restaurant.

Wow what a place - every alleyway is an experience & a photographers dream. And if you enjoy history, OMG. But make sure you get the most of your day by hiring a guide. You can easily understand why this is a UNESCO world heritage sight.

A very interesting medina with typically lots of little alleys and shops. Some shop owners can be a bit pushy but overall a nice experience.

We stayed in the Fes Medina , and you can experience the rich and deep culture of the city . People are generally really nice but some kids will ask for money and some of the people can be really pushed to be your guide or lead you to some shops or restaurant. But overall it is a great place... More

Smaller Medina comparing with Marrakech. Some stores were closed on Friday, but some still opened. We bought some leather products here as they were cheaper and better than in Marrakech, Chefchaouene, or Tangier. We bought many products here.

The Guide took us to all the landmarks and different lanes which specialize in leather , pottery , wedding , food stuff . we also say the madrassa and old mosque from outside. The leather tannery and factories were a sight to remember
