We had the tajine with chicken and green beans which was nice. Don't expect just small pieces off chicken, but more like a whole leg. Tajines were about 40 dirham. The small restaurant is situated close to the blue gate. The restaurant itself doesn't look very nice, but the staff were friendly. One of the waiters tries to persuade you... More

The medersa is an old Arabic school, where children were studying Outran and other disciplines. It is a 15-20 minutes attraction that cost you 1-2 euro. All walls are carved.

What an amazing place. I am fascinated by the moroccan architecture. From a distance it is majestic. Even up close it is impressive. Must see Hint: camera, good footwear, suitable clothing, see it with a guided tour

The intricacies of the tile work is amazing and a lovely place to visit right in the medina of Fes. The courtyard area is just spectacular. Only drawback was I wish some of the upstairs corridor and rooms were in better shape. Given the must visit nature of the Medersa the cultural icon deserves as much.

We used this strategic point in order to meet with our guide. Very nice gate with several little shops nearby.

The riad is a great example of moroccan craftsmanship. The interior patio is exceptionally conceived.

I visited with my husband and primary school son, and we all loved it! The famous Moroccan tile work and the carved stone trellises, the gorgeous courtyard and the sweet green tiled roof and eves - really lovely. And it is really historically significant too!

I do like the moroccan style and this is a great illustration of the know-how that Fez has kept from generation to generation.
